Limited Vacancies Still Available

Discover the heart and soul of Adelaide’s food culture at the Adelaide Central Market - one of the largest undercover markets in the Southern Hemisphere. The Market offers an unrivalled selection of the freshest local produce, from fruit and vegetables to premium meats, poultry, seafood, small goods, cheeses, artisan bakery items, health foods, and more. It’s also a vibrant culinary hub, featuring some of Adelaide’s most beloved and iconic eateries.

A community favourite since 1869, the Adelaide Central Market is making history again with a once-in-a generation development. Set to double in size as part of the $600 million Market Square development, the expansion will introduce a vibrant mix of new food, drink and specialty retail experiences - building on the rich culture, flavours and community that have made the Market one of Adelaide’s most loved destinations. With construction underway and opening scheduled for late 2026, the expanded Market will feature traditional market-style stalls, food and beverage kiosks and larger dining and retail spaces facing Gouger and Grote Streets.

Ideally located in the heart of the CBD, the Market is housed within two beautifully preserved heritage-listed buildings, with prime frontages on both Gouger and Grote Streets. Surrounded by key city landmarks - including Victoria Square / Tarntanyangga to the east and the lively Chinatown precinct to the west - the Adelaide Central Market is a must-visit destination for locals and visitors alike.
