Sauce Day (Passata day) is a ritual for Italian/Australian family and friends to come together for a fun day creating delicious pasta sauce during the first few months of the year when tomatoes are most ripe.

After the success of 2023 we’re expanding it to a two-day program including Gnocchi making on the Friday night alongside live music and trader specials.

Sauce Making

The staple of Sauce Day, learn how to make traditional passata including the opportunity to crush your own tomatoes before bottling and labelling them. There will be good vibes all round with live music throughout the morning.

$25 per head + booking fee. Bookings essential.

Gnocchi Making

Budding pasta chefs will learn the different techniques to make Gnocchi. At the end of the workshop you’ll be able to take your gnocchi home to cook! Enjoy live music while you whip up some delicious pillows of pasta.
