Bienvenue à La Fête Nationale au Marché!
A celebration of French culture over two days on Friday 12 July and Saturday 13 July, our Bastille Day celebrations will have something for everyone. Highlights include FREE live music, a cooking demonstration, cupcake decorating for kids, a crepe pop up stall, champagne bar, guided tours and more!

Kids can enjoy creating their very own French masterpiece, at Bastille Day cupcake decorating workshops these school holidays.

Le tour du Marché : The French Market Tour
Vive La France… Discover the Market, French style!
Join this walking tour of the Market with your French speaking tour guide and Fringe performer Arnaud Bénassy. You’ll learn a bit of Française, learn how to sing La Marseillaise, discover interesting facts about Bastille Day and taste some of the Market’s most authentic French fromage, charcuterie and patisserie. Starting at The Market Stall, this fun tour will take you for a chat and tastings at French institutions the Smelly Cheese Co. and Les Deux Coqs.
Friday 12 July: 4:30pm – 5:30pm, 6:00pm – 7:00pm and 7:30pm – 8:30pm (includes a glass of champagne) $30 plus booking fee, bookings essential

Cheese After Dark by the Smelly Cheese Co. (sold out)
To complete the two-day celebrations, The Smelly Cheese Co will host a very special Cheese After Dark on Saturday 13 July.
