Now in its ninth year, The Big Lunch raises money for The Big Issue’s work with homeless, marginalised and disadvantaged South Australians. Join celebrity chef Simon Bryant, Hilton Adelaide’s Brent Assam and foodie favourite Bree May at our Market on Sunday 28 July 2019 for this very special big lunch. Tickets include a four-course meal with matched wines, beer, cider, or drinks of your choice.

Seasons by Chef Jack has arrived! Seasons focuses on seasonal and sustainable eating, with all produce sourced from Market traders. Their mouth watering dishes will be created from drawing inspiration from our book, Adelaide Central Market: Stories, People & Recipes.
Dishes will change daily, find a sample below (subject to change each day):

Breakfast:
Coconut milk porridge

Lunch:
Not quite leek & Gruyerve cheese tart with salsa verde
Buttermilk fried chicken with nam jim, fried peanuts and pear slaw
Roasted grape, goat’s curd, pancetta & hazelnut open toastie
