Drought Relief Appeal
The Adelaide Central Market and the Australian Red Cross are hosting a drought appeal on Saturday 25 August 2018, raising funds for our Aussie farmers and communities, who are struggling through another devastating severe drought.
Olympic gold medallist Kyle Chalmers OAM, and Olympian Madison Wilson OAM, alongside local identity Bree May will join the cause, collecting donations with Red Cross volunteers throughout the day.
Market traders will also be banding together to offer their support on the day. O’Connells Meats and Bakers Delight will be cooking up an Aussie sausage sizzle between their stalls from 9:30AM, and various traders will be donating some of their day’s takings to support the cause.
100% of all money raised will go to farming communities affected by the drought. Click here to donate via the Australian Red Cross appeal.
