The smell of sizzling chilli crab fills the air. Live jazz and global sounds weave their way through the aisles. You're balancing a glass of Champagne in one hand and a freshly shucked oyster in the other. Seafood + Sounds is back, and we're serving up a delicious winter weekend like no other!

For two days, the Market will come alive with South Australia's freshest seafood alongside a live soundtrack of jazz, funk, acoustic acts and DJs.

Expect freshly shucked oysters and Moët, the return of Sprout's legendary Chilli Crab Shack, exclusive seafood specials from Market traders and live cooking demonstrations from your favourite local chefs.

Celebrate fresh produce, world cuisine and local talent in the home of SA's best seafood: the Adelaide Central Market.

Chilli Crab Shack

It returns for another year! The Sprout team will be serving up their much-loved Asian-style chilli crab, featuring sweet Two Gulfs Crab in a rich chilli tamarind sauce, with egg noodles and fresh Thai herbs sourced from Market traders. It sells out everyyear, so reserve your bowl early!
