Join Smelly Cheese Co. for a cosy, after-hours Cheese After Dark, celebrating the depth, texture and comfort of winter at the Adelaide Central Market.

Hosted by our beloved Cheese Queen Valérie Henbest, alongside Dan Coward from Alkina Wine Estate, this intimate evening explores the powerful connection between soil, place and flavour. Alkina’s wines are shaped by extensive soil studies and single-site expression, revealing how geology and terroir translate directly into the glass.

Guests will be guided through a thoughtful pairing of five seasonal cheeses with a selection of Alkina wines, chosen to echo structure, texture and origin, alongside warm, house-made flammekueches to share. Expect deep flavours, compelling stories and a sensory journey grounded in terroir.
