Market Soiree

Since 2012, OzHarvest volunteers have rescued the equivalent of 264,520 meals from our Traders, safely delivering it to charities in need.  
That’s 132,260kg of good quality surplus food saved from land fill, 872,916kg of greenhouse emissions prevented through avoiding food waste and 45,629,700L of water saved. This means we’re helping to build a sustainable food culture where food wastage is reduced and more people can access a fresh, nutritious meal

As a part of Sustainable September, we’ll be marking the occasion by raising $3k for OzHarvest to help support this essential service in Adelaide. FiveAA will be broadcasting live from the Market with yellow army of OzHarvest volunteers on Friday 30 September from 6am to 9am – if you can’t make it in to the Market, you can also donate via the fundraising page OzHarvest – OzHarvest and ACM 10th Birthday
