Program Highlights

Le tour du Marché

Join this walking tour of the Market with your French speaking tour guide and Fringe performer Arnaud Bénassy. You’ll learn a bit of Française, learn how to sing La Marseillaise, discover interesting facts about Bastille Day and taste some of the Market’s most authentic French fromage, charcuterie and patisserie. Starting with a délicieux glass of French champagne this fun tour will take you for a chat and tastings at French institutions the Smelly Cheese Co. and Les Deux Coqs.

Free Cooking Demonstrations

Discover how to create a French masterpiece at home with a patisserie chef from Le Cordon Bleu Australia as they demonstrate French patisserie from scratch. Or discover all things cheese with our very own expert, Valerie Henbest, of Smelly Cheese Co (Stall 46).

The French Wine Centre pop-up ‘Impromptu’ will return open, serving a curated selection of French wine by the glass!

Indulge in the best simple sweet and savoury crepes as per Brittany tradition with Friwi Crêpes & Co at our Producer in Residence Stall.
